Manager, Sales Support

The Manager, Sales Support position is in our Consumer Market group, located in the Denver, Colorado office.  This position is responsible for engaging and assisting our clients in their day-to-day marketing application of Echelon/Cohorts products, including training clients on the products and services. The Manager, Sales Support position will interpret client and market research data in order to drive clients toward optimizing their marketing efforts and better decision making. This position will report to the VP, Sales Support.

The Manager, Sales Support will:

  • Engage and assist clients in their day-to-day marketing application of Echelon/Cohorts products;
  • Interpret client and market research data in order to drive clients toward optimizing their marketing efforts and better decision making;
  • Use sound database marketing principles, client analytical findings and other company resources to identify appropriate strategic marketing solutions and recommendations;
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales Support, sales and data analysts to support the development and delivery of client reports and presentations;
  • Support client training on Echelon/Cohorts products and services;
  • Provide direct client facing support;
  • Conduct weekly meetings with clients;
  • Coordinate and manage multiple client projects under tight time constraints with accuracy and efficiency;
  • Fulfill all mapping requests using MapInfo or MapPoint and serve as internal and external contact for Cohorts Atlas (geo solution); and
  • Serve as the Denver office Sales Force administrator - troubleshoot any issues that may arise and manage administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in related field, or equivalent training and experience;
  • Three (3) or more years in a related customer service role; and
  • Three (3) or more years working within the direct marketing industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documents;
  • Exceptional ability to analyze data and effectively apply the results;
  • Ability to work either independently or in a team environment, depending on the task;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute against identified key service priorities;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to demonstrate commitment to clients;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, manage client expectations; and
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
